why is everyone getting so worked up about it ... she said that it's fine to have fairness creams as long as they are not putting across the idea that just because you are not fair doesn't mean you are any less beautiful

i am from the west and have tanned/brown skin i see products and facewashes here that are meant to help you get tanner once again they are not saying if you have fair skin you are not attractive but its simple to helo women achieve the tanned look

as long as these ads are not making anyone feel inferior i don't see what the problem with them

I actually ( & honestly) watched her response now. And i absolutely loved what she said. Might be possible Jhoot bol rahi hai about telling the brand its not right as she still did it considering she was fairly new to the industry. She couldn't be picky at that time....

Her leaving the brand wont solve the issue. plus also mentioned ads are gone. (cant attest to that though i dont watch television)

Why are ppl making so much noise regarding fairness cream ads.

If you don't like to use , then don't use it. Some ppl like to look FAIR , it might boost their moral then let it be. Let them use it UNLESS it causes some health hazards I am all for these make up stuff.

Let me (ladies) don't yo apply makeup or use cream for special events like parties, diwalis etc ?

Then why make so much noise against these FAIR actresses endorsing those same creams or those brands/similar brands which you use.

No doubt these ads are problematic but only one or two people are being questioned for this as if they are criminals and the mastermind behind these ads.

Because she's literally over the top with those ads. Of course all the celebs who endorse fairness products are responsible for endorsing that "fair is worthy and beautiful" mentality.

Dude keep aside the factual accuracy of what she said.. People are behaving as if she has done some big sort of crime. I seriously fail to understand what was so wrong in what she said. To each their own I guess😏

Nahi bhai. Makeup so koi problem nahi( as if being ugly is something inferior) bas fairness creams se problem hai🤣

I haven't watched what she said but whatever she must have said would never justify endorsing fairness products.

To each their own. I didn't like how she tried to justify endorsing fairness cream. So I would speak up.

And why should I keep aside the factual accuracy of what she said? She is a public figure and gave that statement on record. So she should check the facts before speaking.

Fairness cream ko target karlo jitna karna hai, ghanta kuch nahin hota usse waise bhi. 😆 Actually mein skin tone change karni hoti hai to end mein wahi primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer, highlighter potna padhta hai.
