But good to see Shubhra fighting back and trying to argue out her views. Some very simple but effective dialogues between Shubhra and Ajoba were really a good example of how to handle clashes without going overboard. Everything was well controlled and there was no screaming or anything OTT. This is generally how arguments happen in cultured middle class homes.

Now the real test for Shubhra will start on how to change Ajoba's medieval views.

Diwali sampalee and we are back to reality. Reality that Aajoba is a tough cookie. How Shubhra can change his regressive thinking while being respectful of him will be something to watch.

Although today Aajoba was triggered by Pradnya's taunts IMO.

Yes he was triggered by tikli gazra comment, but vichar tyanchech aahet original. Junya vicharachya lokanna aapla mat patvun dena khup difficult asta. Shubhra-Asavari-Abhijeet are going to have a tough time convincing aajoba. Soham ugach bhaav khanar.

Agreed. And the irony is that Aajoba himself was wearing a bright coloured kurta although he is an octogenarian widower.

Importantly, it did not go into a highly dramatic slanging match between Ajoba and Shubhra. Ajoba hatti ahet but he does not break relations in spite of his deep annoyance so there is hope he will turnaround in the near future. In any other serial this was a good opportunity to raise the decibel level. The CV's resisted that.

This exactly is the theme of the serial. Men are superior to women for Ajoba (and this has passed on to Babdya) and can do no wrong.

Yes, they've shown a father -daughter like interaction between Aajoba and Asa so there is hope. OTOH Somya is hopeless and useless.

Yes its sad still if widows r still not allowed to dress up. I think most of these women r already gone thru biggest tragedy of their life n then not allowed even small pleasures is too much. And i found nothing flashy abt asa . She just wore a red saree wt subtle makeup n regular hair. Its too much grandpa 👿. I feel if patriarchy still prevails its a shame. Respecting elders n understanding their views is one thing but accepting regressive / oppresive views is WRONG. Thank god i m not a daughter in law in that family otherwise rojche phatake 💥😂

Yes, widows being sidelined is very outdated but the serial would have been meaningless if there was no opposition to Abhi-Asa alliance. What we need is a quick turnaround by Ajoba and Somya of their old ideas. If they drag this opposition endlessly then the charm of the serial will be lost.
