To me it’s simple - it wasn’t full fledged court proceedings last night obviously - but they had people taking the stand - and for me, there’s your consent right there to being questioned. Sure you can choose not to answer - but you certainly don’t tell your lawyer to answer on your behalf mid trial lol. That truly does likely happen only in Shuklapur. As for the term - I might’ve been the one to coin it, but I can’t take credit since others use it too and may have thought of it before me 😆

Even for non-serious cases, the defendant has to be there otherwise the judge will give an adjournment or an ex-parte judgement in favour of the other party present. Lawyered! 😎

Yes.. it was a mock court where judge was ordering the accused to take a stand. Asim should have refused to follow judge's orders but he was busy appreciating her hotness in red dress instead 😆😆

A defendant has to be present PERSONALLY OR VIA HIS PLEADER otherwise judge will grand exparte judgement or adjournment

from what i know defend laywyer has right to object the questions of prosecution

Ok.. but that will be decided by the judge after defendant requests to not be present. Here Asim walked to the witness stand all smiles so there is no question of dispensing personal attendance. So now Asim has to answer for himself and not his lawyer.. case closed 😈
