Loll, last we checked Dadu and Beeji didn't want to be models either. 🤣

Maybe they would cast parents looking much older altogether.

After all the heartbreak and emotional turmoil she's been through in the past one year, I can understand where she's coming from. But in the long run, this isn't going to be healthy for her.

When she was talking to Babita on Friday about still retaining her identity despite being married, there was a "high maintenance" vibe. Almost as if everything in that marriage will have to be dictated, controlled and accepted by her. If not, then there's no room for that person in her life.

For some reason, I'm thinking it might go the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani route. In it, Bunny too had an immense wander lust and had immersed himself so deeply into his work that he had missed out on his own father's funeral. Idk what the future holds for Hanita, but I can see Minnie being in this constant crave of wanting more from the world and yet failing to keep hold of the connections that truly matter.

Yeah, I also got that high maintenance vibe. They have barely been married a few weeks and this is what she expects. I think if she stays she'd wear them down as well as herself.

YJHD route? Hmmm... The thing is that Minnie craves family very much but is in denial. Her therapy sessions were never continued so these things will continue to fester. Also, she will have no one to guide and no matter how street smart she is, without a proper role model (which she also craves), she will end up losing herself and potentially face an identity crisis. Not having a father in her life has already damaged her psyche, whether or not she acknowledges that, and now not having her mother who she mothered, will also be tough. She will likely have to deal with an empty nest syndrome of sorts.

Fine, she doesn't give a damn about HS (who, by the way is one of the main reasons she could free her mind up to go after her dreams) but what about Babita? Her mother, her once best friend? Would she not think of her or miss her one bit? Or would the news of the baby make her want to cut herself off from Hanita and her unborn sibling forever?

If she does come back after 5 years, I would expect Hanita would already have a child (or 2).

If she never even once thinks of her mother or tries to reach out to her, then I really don't know who this Minnie is. Minnie lived for her mother. Yes, things got bad along the way, but have they really gotten so sour that they can't be rectified?

Even with the news of the baby, wouldn't she ever have the yearning of wanting to know it? To be its big sister? What will the kid think of her? Surely Hanita will share everything about Minnie to it. What will they say about why Minnie doesn't ever call them or come back to visit them?

Yes she will, and I suspect she will face what HS had cautioned against: people not tolerating her anger and tantrums. A while ago, I would have thought she'd remember him and his teachings but now... who knows?

It is also easy for people to fall in to bad company when they are vulnerable, even if they are usually strong people. It would be interesting if that were to happen to Minnie.

LOLL, considering the way they axed him, you really think they wouldn't replace him? 😆 They don't give two shits about him or all the hard work they put into HS. All they care about is themselves and the "story" they want to tell.

It's breaking my heart to think she would separate from them forever. It's just too sad after everything they have all been through. Once upon a time, I had hoped to see her take Hanita's blessings and then go all excited, with Babita in tears and HS putting his arm around her while in tears himself as they watch her check in for her flight or something. Sigh...

I don't know indeed what could be said or done that would make her turn away completely, but I would expect that in the 5 years she spends alone she would mature and reflect on things, seeing Hanita's points of view more clearly and understand where she also may have gone wrong.

But they'll be in their early forties? 😕 Unless handling their baby literally made them grow ages. 😆
