Best decade of music in Bollywood?

"DelusionalMe" gave me the idea for this poll. Which is the best decade of music or in simple words, which decade had the best songs according to you?

We know that the worst decade of music is which we are living in, because of Bollywood making remake of every other old song. So I'll not even put that in option.

90s for me.

A few days back, we were having a discussion at our workplace and a colleague of mine said that the music of 90s is highly overrated but nobody agreed. He actually put forward a few songs with fcuked up lyrics but then we can't ignore all the gems for some stupid songs. So yeah, it's 90s for me. The current era is just recycled version of 90s which or a gareebon ka 90s version.

50s-70s golden time because along with music, lyrics were also amazing

1970s - most popular songs with variety and this era gave many iconic movies too- songs, dialogues, fashion.

For me, it's 90s.

But my parents disagree 😆

Because according to them the 70s was golden era of Bollywood music 😃

50's Bollywood is the gold standard of music - the real Golden Era

70's was the new 50's - another Golden Era

60's was more melodramatic/kitsch but classic nonetheless

90's was closer to 60's (or can be termed as poor man's 60's)

80's and 2000's have their highs but overall were confused/transitional times

Present time seems to be unanimously agreed as worse by everyone, so no confusion here

Hoping the next decade will be like 50's and 70's

I think up till 2000s the music was decent. After that it’s been trash all round (with few exceptions).

Early 90's era when Gulshan and Anuradha brought revolution in the dying Indian film music.

Sab ki apni apni pasand hai, people just remember the good things and move on.

90s is winning because almost all of us are from that era. But you gotta be damn biased if you think 90s didn't had WTF lyrics and crappy songs.
