@Nihara..i read your discussion about AR and Kabir Singh with AY and Fary...i agree...i watched some of the scenes of Kabir Singh and immediately AR and man its such a vast difference in terms of acting....Vijay actually made Arjun Reddy character relatable...i mean you can feel it...you might not agree with his approach and there is an innocence in his face that Shahid completely missed in Kabir Singh...i didnt watch both the movies until recently when Kabir Singh was available on prime..i can see how an actor can completely make you to in believe in that character by sincerity...
I dont watch the movies of superstars of Telugu cinema except for Mahesh Babu that too sometimes but i have liked movies of Nani Vijay and many other not big actors...Telugu movies are better in terms of story telling and characters...i watched jersey, dear comrade, nani gang leader...they are all different genres...and i am really glad telugu movies have that variety...
Lmao yes Rohini just few days back i came across Bekhayali song in Youtube...it was cheap and pukeworthy...Vijay's crying and his pain and expressions in "break up" song make us feel for the character in the second half of the movie...In first half of AR, their love story was so lame..their love is potrayed by only their making out scenes or heroine brushing the teeth with the hero's brush blah blah...Even if they have shown single scene of conversation ,, i could have connected with their love story...upar se hero was a hypocrite ..he himself bodyshame heroine's friend in the classroom ..i mean the way he called her to come to the first bench scene ..and then he himself give lectures to one of his friend to cancel the rishta of his sister with a guy bcz the guy objectifies an air hostess... I mean he himself objectify woman but he gives lectures...i had a problem with this character even in first half itself
Second half, they edited out many dialogues or few scenes on TV.so i'm not sure ..but i heard there was a scene where he put a knife on some girl to do it with him...According to me it is not less than a Rape...(sorry for using such words here)...So based on this scene, i can say he turned into psychopath in second half...In process of move on from love failure, He developed severe depression , substance abuse aur kya kya mental illness psychiatrists will need to analyse his mental illness 😆.No one in their sane mind will justify his actions in second half like how the director of the movie justified😆...lol...Director is a mysogynist obviously...we can justify the character in second half only with mental illness..lol
Even with all these ,you will feel for the guy in the second half when he was a gone case..bcz of Vijay's acting....This movie is an actor's movie...the script is weak..if not for the Vijay's acting,this movie was utter crap...lol
Heroine's character was so put off for me even in her first scene itself..😆
I feel Shahid's acting or lack of acting made the story in hindi version look soo cheap
....
Regarding Mahesh babu,i liked him in Okkadu, and Pokiri...pokiri is my all time favourite movie lol...Recent mahesh films i dint like...
