Lotus, The flower that struggles through mud to emerge beautiful and whole. The deepest and thickest the mud is, the most beautifully lotus blooms.
Anurag and Prerna's love is not coming out straight from a picturesque fairy-tale. It's not a methodical or quientessential love either. Instead, It's peculiar, It's unconventional and It's outlandish! Their love is not all hearts, mushy talks, romantic walks, few hurdles to overcome and then a happily ever after. Their love is tough, it demands dedication and determination to experience the heartbreaks again and again but it is selfish enough to not make either of the two to drift away. It has the ardour to lead the two of them towards their destinations in life, which are Anurag to Prerna and Prerna to Anurag.
The lotus flower, is known for It's remarkable beauty. Untouched by the impurity, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. At night, the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again, to shine and spread It's beauty with the sunshine of the new day. Similarly, the love of Anurag and Prerna is as pristine, untarnished, immaculate and pure as the lotus. The hardships and difficulties their love face is like the mud surrounding the lotus! Anupre's way to love is filled with challenges, troubles and sufferings. They have to give exam to pass the level of the challenge thrown at their way to get their way back to each other. They have to fight not only with the world but even with each other to not let the other person lose his/her self and accept the destructive circumstances by scarring own self. They have the power to soothe the senses of each other, when one's heart is burning with pain. They have the power to burn everything and everyone into ashes, who dares to ruin them. After the end of their each challenging phase, one might be broken and other might be wounded, but they have the power to collect up and repair those broken pieces into full again, and to treat those wounds with the ointment of love, to make them fade away and even if they leave behind some marks, then those marks are the sign of their togetherness amidst chaos, their win of goodness over evil, their love above challenges!
The presence of mud around the lotus makes the flower more exquisite. It shows the struggles the flower faced, to outgrow and keep it untouched and pure from the dirt. Likewise, Anupre's love comes out more and more beautiful and stronger after facing the challenges and hardships, life throw at their way. When the dirt gets too much, their love protects itself by not letting even an ounce of that dirt touch it, just like the lotus protects itself from the darkness of the night and when the peaceful dawn comes up, it blooms again opening It's petals one by one. In a similar way, Anupre's love blooms more beautifully and bewitchingly, comfirming that challenges will come and go, but we and our love will stay in this life and even beyond that.
What's a lotus, without a mud? And what's a love, without challenges?! Mud and challenges are necessary to add more beauty and value to the lotus and the love!
I will end this up with my favourite quote on Anupre - "Their love might not be easy, but it has the habit of coming back again and again, come what may in the way!"
Happy Diwali, People!
