I have never felt the need to engage in physical violence all my life. As a confrontational person, I have had several arguments with several people in my life even to an extent of almost yelling at my ex-boss that he only does what the other boss says even though I have no nexus with him (Oh the anger😆), even in my peers, several altercations as strong personalities tend to collide tooo but never any physical violence not even a jerk or anything. I simply walk away or tell them off verbally.
Humpty Sharma is rather one of my fav examples to quote when someone asks me something like, Shukla's character in it doesn't fight with the goons who are passing comments on her and Humpty comes and beats them up and is shown as a hero. It confused me coz irl that'd be not be the best case scenario.
Physical violence is worse than verbal diarrhoea because at least everyone is on a level playing field in the latter. And you can chose to ignore if someone is yelling garbage at you, but thats not the case when someone is intimidating you with violence. Additionally, physical violence can hurt other people as well e.g. people who intervene to stop it, and thats never excusable.
