folks I hope no homemaker is offended by my constant rants of financial independence!

I respect homemakers and i have many family members who have done that but they still have an alternate or back up plan. They are all educated and if the need be they’d be happy to cater to themselves,

This happened to one of my cousins who got married to an NRI and she was kicked out of the house. She had no degree and no parents to go to. Had a very hard time to fix her life.

No matter what, a girl can choose to be a homemaker but should always have a back up plan for financial independence.

Life throws interesting curve balls. One must be always prepared to stand independently with dignity despite family members support.

I see that lacking in Prerna and my fear is what if she is actually thrown out. What can she do now?

The writers ended Bajaj with magnanimity. Right until the end IN THE WRITING he overshadowed Anurag. HE was the ringmaster. HE PLAYED HIS CARDS. He let things happen. He MADE things happen. From letting Prerna go to arranging their marriage to warning Anurag he WILL BE BACK if he hurts Prerna to giving that letter to Prerna and telling her he'll be back if she needs him! Why would they set up all of that if he's not going to return? Also if they wanted to end him once and for all, they could've had an *expose* track. Instead what they had was Bajaj being the bigger man, overshadowing the leads, making ALL THE MOVES, and leaving magnanimously.
