Rishi was useful until Prachi had to open her big mouth and spout that nonsense about him being her cousin. In fact Rishi was more useful in this regard as Prachi too likes him as a person. In some unconscious level, Rishi is still pricking Ranbir as a thorn. However, even with Sanju his protective and jealous avatar will come forth.

Yep. everything is set in stone for ranbir now, and he can't even see it. He's already attracted to prachi, and can't see it, will fall in love with prachi for real, and by the time he realises, rhea will play spoil sport by convincing prachi that ranbir is only playing with her as part of a bet he agreed to in order to win rhea's heart by breaking prachi's first, that too when innocent ranbir hasn't been giving any importance to rhea's bet or acting upon it at all. Ranbir will fall foul in future due to his current infatuation for rhea and his denial of his feelings for prachi.
