Yes, sadly the good ones only manage to survive for so long before they end in disaster. Only trash has a long lifespan on ITV.

The potential of the cast, the characters is obvious to any rational mind....but such decisions on ITV are not made for rational reasons....they are made in a rush under some twisted pressure and executed as a mess. These decisions always end in a trainwreck but the makers or channel insist in seeing a once great show crash and burn.

They will never admit their mistake either so don't expect that from them.....lol they will try their best to promote it as some great new chapter for the show.

I know it's only a show but I still feel hurt. Their writing was on a completely different level altogether and they just ended up taking such a huge fall.

Your hurt is totally understandable.

I've been through so many rounds of this that I feel numb each time I get the news of yet another show making an abrupt asinine decision to mess up its legacy. I shouldn't feel bad after having seen this so many times but I still do.....lol

I haven't loved the writing of a show like I've loved the writing of this show in a long time. And then the fantastic cast living the characters.....it was an amazing experience to view.

But at the end of the day, our emotions as viewers are negligible to the writers and PH....they always do what they feel like. It's not about regard for anyone.

The slap that Babita gave Mini was the last straw that broke the Camel back. Katha Kottage could not take Babita slapping the Bacheri Mini, over the soulmate pure love for Mickey and She cannot have her pure Bacheri Mini proved wrong in front of Babita who was right about Mickey.

So how with Babita and HS out of the pictures, Mini can play with Mickey in a love triangle with Pretti. After landing safely back in Patiala a very wealthy lady with HS Hawali and the Shop run faithfully for her by NB and Khamo for 5 years.

She returns with Ashok and Mita and the Khuranas and settles down in the Hawali. As Ashok will never oppose Mini and Mickey being in Love and cheating as it runs in the family.

Now it makes sence in why Mini whitewashed them so nicely with Daz.

What I don't get is why they hyped the wedding so much then😕😆.....lol matlab itna kharcha on promo shoot, kapde, promotion etc.....when literally everything went down the drain with it.

All the claims of the story is just beginning, look at the awesome TRPs we got....lol woh sab kya tha? Where were they expecting the story to go if they didn't handle the post wedding conflicts dhang se? Over the last few weeks, it's been clear that they have been losing their handle on execution.....so what were the pressures? Channel se ya kuch aur? 🤔

They sabotaged everything to forcefully show that people aren't perfect, HS wasn't what he had seemed to be initially, forceful fall from grace, Babita's arc going nowhere, etc. Now when you see the writing you can almost draw parallels there as to how the writers sabotaged their own work, and ended up falling from grace themselves, letting us see that they are not what they had seemed to be initially.

The irony is just...

Yeah. I think I should consider the episode where HS and Babita talk on the phone and say they will solve everything together as the final one. For me, the show ended there in terms of the old era.

But people aren't perfect....that's the truth. Just that the writers executed it way better in the early half of the show.....these were all very imperfect people to begin with.....that is what fascinated me....that they were such compelling characters in their imperfections only.....it's very rare on TV.

They just lost their grip on how to showcase the executions with the wedding.....they took a lot of things to the extreme for melodrama rather than highlighting the flaws in a balanced manner to make a point rather than a display out of it.

I wish I could say they are the first set of writers on TV to fall from grace.....lol but there's PLENTY....WAY too many. They all fall from grace sooner or later......for a variety of reasons.
