I mean people who donate on the regular in India am sure know what ngos,foundations,organizations do with old articles,recycleable things,bottles,clothes,books, even paper(raddi). Deepika is doing it, Deepika who self founded that foundation for years is doing it so now it’s an issue out of the world. I am glad tho at least people are now interested in charities and donations. Before they weren’t, now they know more about it every day 🤣

Why wouldn't they 🤣 Every foundation advertises itself😆😉 Bill and Melinda included so why wouldn't Deepika to get the word out that she is using her foundation to fund programs! More donors will come forward yay!

And Ofcourse when you attach yourself to a cause,if its a good one publicity toh milegi 😳 But atleast she is just not attaching her name for publicity to a random charity as lipservice and has actually funded the foundation to begin it all on her own. And to sustain it is taking public donations like she should! 😳

What's so wrong about having a selfish agenda though? We all are humans, not angels. And more so, if the so called selfish agenda actually and eventually might change someone's life. The only important thing to be considered is that the collected amount actually reaches them.

If we go by this, there won't be a thing called 'awareness'. Advertisements are required for many upper middle class people who become regular donator to many organizations once they find the right way through advertisements. Auctioning is another way for some rich people to be indirectly involved in charity. What's the problem if this creates awareness ? Camera and pen are not meant to be kept inside bags all the time.
