Its not for you and me...its one of the most popular ways celebrities use their credibility to get people to do charity....Every celebrity does it at some point in their life...Why does this forum makes it look like Deepika invented this method?

If all celebrities do something, that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

I don't have any animosity with Deepika.

But I don't feel like this can be considered as charity. My opinion.

Which she already does on the daily basic. She didn’t ask for anyone help when she self founded that foundation and when she helped an entire village but it’s no use if people are not aware just like now. People are just not looking into to see what kind of work this foundation does. The pennies she is going to get from 5 clothes sold is nothing compared to the actual funding that requires a foundation.

Last thing is why does people even acting like she is inventing something new?

These celebs have their own funda. They want to throw out those clothes and things so instead of throwing them out, they auction them (not even sell them at a cheap rate) and then say they raised a huge amount for charity. Clothes are disposed off and plus they earn goodwill 😆

and they fund the money in NIMHANS,TISS and school mental health programmes to make sure people get the help they want. Win-win. 😆

And they disclose it as well that they did donate money 😉

I have absolutely no problems about them using this for publicity as atleast they donate the money and the money is used properly. 😳
