It's not that confusing. He's infatuated by rhea due to her image and thinks that he is in love with rhea, but with prachi he's slowly feelings attracted to her and doesn't realise it at all. He will fall for prachi not on the basis of looks or vanity.

In my mother's hometown in pakistan, one of my relatives is married to a woman much older than him (the age difference even shows), and it was an arranged marriage.
