Yeah, as an address proof is what I have seen people use it for. When my sister got married, it was a rush to add her name to the ration card because passport verification stated ration card as proof of address. I don’t know if it’s still used.

I am just saying. Babita being the mother of Mini should be allowed to put her name along with hers in the ration card or whatever. It doesn’t make sense that HS needs to legally adopt for them to do that. Babita is a mother and should have the right to include her daughter.

Of course rules are different. Patriarchal society it is.
