She changed the picture with her and hs ' s picture . The ration card doesnt have minnies's name as well

The ration card cannot have Minnie’s name as she is not a blood relative of HS. Her name is probably in her Dadu Biji’s card. The ration card rules in india are very old school.

I don’t know- logically it makes sense but in the old days they had a head of the household and then the names of all the people in that house and their relationship to that person. If Babita put herself separately as the head of the household then she can add Minnie. HS can have his own card separately. I have heard my dad complain about ration card rules so I am talking from heresay- dunno if things are different.

It is old school infact i dont think anybody uses ration card anymore.

Subsidized price me milta hai for low income groups. its based on salary drawn. I dont think HS ko waise bhi zyaada milega usme. Many use it as address proof only. Now with Aadhar card its not necessary I think. Maybe used to prove relationship also. Not sure of this. 😕
