Spotlight enjoyed a light-hearted chat with the director, Aehsun Talish to dish out more about the story. Here’s what he revealed about the tale and we bet you will be surprised to know that Yeh Dil Mera is a romantic mystery: Ye Dil Mera is a romantic thriller, a story that unfolds layers and layers of memories of the past beneath the calm and sweet love story. But why Sajal and Ahad all over again for this drama? We couldn’t help asking Aehsun! As everyone is aware of this off-screen, on-screen’s most romantic couple, so Sajal and Ahad fit this romantic saga written by the maestro Farhat Ishtiaq. Last but not least, we asked him his viewpoint over the social media buzz and reviews of critics over the teasers. Seems like Talish is welcoming the contentious feedback with open arms! Well, let the critics say what they need to as that’s the ambiguity created by the teasers and they are playing their part well. Meanwhile, the award-winning writer Farhat Ishtiaq too has cleared the air in a tweet that drama is a romantic thriller and surely will not glorify provocation of any sort.

i wanted to watch sehra main safar but its no longer on yt.. maybe hum tv will upload it soon

It was a typical story of a woman oppressed by her first husband, taunted by society. Then her cousin, who liked her from the word go, expresses eagerness to marry her and their journey then onwards. Pretty run off the mill in terms of narrative but the treatment of the material was sensitive, in my opinion. Zarnish did a good job and, IMO her presence elevated the show.

They should do so hopefully. They've become prompt with uploads. I guess their competitions have given them a boost. They don't want to lag behind ARY (the YouTube channel of which uploads episodes immediately post telecasting).
