The reunion of Abhi and Pragya on Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya is one of the most-awaited sequences on Indian television. AbhiGya, as the jodi is fondly nicknamed, are deeply in love with each other, however, they have been separated due to their differences and circumstances. It’s been 20 years since they have been living apart, with one of their twin daughters each. Fans of #AbhiGya have been rooting for them to get back together ever since. Shabir Ahluwalia, who essays Abhi on the daily soap, spoke to us recently and asserted that he too feels the onscreen couple deserves a happily ever after.
Speaking about the latest sequence on Kumkum Bhagya where Abhi and Pragya are at loggerheads, he said, “We don’t know when Abhi and Pragya would reunite. They have met recently. But they shall fight, separate again. But that’s very Abhi and Pragya, we either meet in morgues or police station or some kidnapping place or at a place under terror attack.🤣😆
Abhi toh mile hai, things won’t exactly be rosy. A lot of baggage from the past will come forward. In my mind, I expected it to be more hunky-dory.”
We quizzed him if he’d fix one thing between Abhi and Pragya, what would it be? “Destiny,” he replied. Shabir further added,” I’d fix Abhi and Pragya’s destiny. Abhi and Pragya deserve a happily ever after.”
