I've wondered about the three talaqs too. From the dramas I'd originally thought that was how divorce happened and I thought it was pretty unfair.
Only later, when you read more you realise that there's a reason why the most unfair way of divorce is the least reliable/most disliked way of divorce.
I suppose they want to move the dramas fast.
It is high time now they promote the right way of talaq, by airing dramas which are about a divorced couple who want to get back, without showing all that halala crap.
There's no need of 3 talaqs for Iddat to be completed, or for divorce to become pakka, I wonder why do Pakistani dramas promote 3 talaqs.😳 If a guy divorced a girl by saying: talaq word . And didn't cancel it in 3 months, she becomes free from him after she completes the 3 months period (iddat) or after she delivers (pregnant) . 😊
yeah and also after one talaaq if one cycle is complete but before giving secod talaaq the couple reconciles...and then say a few months or a year after he gives another talaaq that one will count as a second talaaq. So a person can give single talaaqs separately it doesnt matter how long the gap is but after 3 theres no way back without halala
Okay I see people over here saying that maybe they didnt go all the way. So why was she wearing the pink nightie? Adnan asked us to read between the lines so I guess there must have been some type of physical closeness. It doesn't have to be sleeping together. Maybe mehwish couldn't go through all the way and went to her room or asked him to leave to his room.
I think it's just me. But I'm a naturally very suspicious person, lol.
I think so far the writer and director have been very strategic with the tiny doses of information they're giving us. For example, until yesterday, we didn't know for sure that there was no meeting in Islamabad. We were speculating, sure. But they hadn't told us. And we still don't know exactly what happened. I'm not saying that the drama will explicitly tell us what happened, but with all the secrecy that's been maintained with this drama I think they're building up to a moment where they say "ta-da!" and confirm or refute our speculations.
Mehwish has also flip-flopped a little for someone who really wanted to get onto Shahwar's train.
I think whether or not they actually had a physical relationship is kind of beside the point though. It's all still cheating. She's been cheating on her husband for a while now, and surely it's not just the physical act that confirms it.

I feel that too. Cheating is cheating, period!
I do think that shehwar won't marry mehwish. He doesn't seem like that type of person. Mehwish is cunning enough to set up the fight in such a way that it seems it was danish's fault that is leading to their separation. But she is dumb enough to not really see through shehwar 😕

Right. And halala is shown in dramas as a way to get the wife to her old husband who gave her triple talaaqs. It is planned with the 2nd husband marrying a woman without the real intention of a marriage which is starting a home togather. He only marries her to give her divorce so that she'll be able to return back to the first husband. This consept is wrong because if the man marries a woman with the intention of divorcing her, so the marriage isn't right and it doesn't count. 😊
which drama did that happen in? i thought it only happens in indian dramas

I am confused ... In Zara yaad kar ..the guy and the girl had nikkah but not ruksati ...but it was shown that she did Iddat (cnt remember properly) and then had to do halala to marry Zahid again ..right? (I dont know if i remember it correctly )
In Yaariyan Sadia did no iddat and was married off straight away ...she also had nikkah and no ruksati
What is right?

I think Islamically that not allowed either ..right? You cannot marry with intention of dirvorce
If i am not mistaken Halal was suppose to be punishment for 1st husband who harshly divorces his wife ..the fact that the woman has to marry another man and be with him the night is a way of punishment for the first husband
There are different rulings if there was rukhsati or not. If no rukhsati meaning no leaving together then no iddat because iddat is basically checking to make sure there's no pregnancy. Lineage is important in Islam.
