I am getting the same vibes from the goings-on in this show, and HS is in a bit of a similar position right now.

As for his mother's room, frankly, I would prefer HS not even bring this topic up with Babita. She won't get it and it will only upset him further to see her lack of interest or initiative in that regard.

I don't think so I think she will understand being a mother .in imarti track what everyone saw was mini supported HS but it was babita who could give explanation to every word of imarti in the letter which cleared the perception of imarti father .She was in ego anger that time but then also she did it for HS and understood imarti feelings for HS so we'll .IIts babita who first understood what HS feels for imarti when she asked him to pen down his feelings in the scene where lala had to write letter for Geeta .After imarti HS could not just fall for anyone only on looks man he would have also seen something

I think right now CVS have butchered her character so much that we tend to think like that she won't understand anything .

Babita only understands that he misses his mother and Imarti. What she will not get is the depth of his emotions and his trauma regarding both. She was like that even before the character was 'butchered'. She has been self-absorbed from day one, that hasn't changed a bit.

For her to get HS, she has to put her own self aside and really truly focus on him. Her wanting HS to dictate the letter was not about making him feel better or helping him but wanting to know what he had in his heart, because she has always been in awe of what he shared with Imarti, something she never experienced before. Aur ab dekho, mauqa mil raha hai to use bhi nahin karti. You could hear the same thing in her voice when she interpreted Imarti's letter to SS, her being in awe of HS' late wife and their love story. It's something Babita aspires to subconsciously but is clueless about how to get there or why. The fact that HS seems to love her so much is also this important to her because she feels that she has made inroads in terms of getting that high up on his list or whatever.

That's what I'm wondering too.....he's actually a super sensitive and emotional guy.....side benefits alone won't fulfill those other needs he has.....and yes sadly, he seems to have overestimated his abilities to compartmentalize and make this marriage work simply with superficial appeasement....he thinks just getting some affection from Babita will be enough to give him contentment.....you are so wrong, HS ji....so wrong.....he doesn't even realize this much about himself.....sigh.

I actually find it depressing that women are being portrayed like this.....showing a woman heaping emotional abuse on a man who loves her....are they expecting us to blindly justify Babita's behavior simply because we're women and HS is a man? Abuse is abuse.....I'll call it when I see a woman facing it as I saw Babita facing it with Ashok and I'll call it with a man facing it too.....Babita is emotionally abusing both HS and Mini in my opinion.....and that is why both of them are suffocating in this facade in the long run.

Sometimes victims of abuse and trauma themselves become abusive, sadly.

He is wrong and I think he knows it but is reluctant to make waves. Every since mother-daughter entered his otherwise peaceful life, he's been on a marathon dealing with issues left right and center.

I am now sure they are deliberately showing this emotional abuse of HS and Babita continuing to play the victim card. It's linked to one of their tweets.

@bold, this is very sad indeed. Minnie and HS both suffered as children and now it continues in a different way. This is why I keep saying HS has to take charge, if nothing then to protect Minnie. Her break down hasn't happened yet, contrary to our expectations, so perhaps they are piling things on so that Minnie does indeed get to the point where she can't handle things any more. Kab tak survivor mode mein rahegi?
