I think what would help is if they show her doing all this only to realize that it's not what HS expects or wants from her. I would love it even more if he gets mad at her for going down this path but I am asking for too much from the CVs. Pre episode 200 this is what would have happened.

I don't think she would get it, ulta gussa ho jayegi aur ladegi and this HS would want to avoid conflict and say "as you like, as you wish".

I also believe a wife identity is not based on husband solely .Any woman should not forget herself for anyone .Her sindoor and her grihasti should not define her .

And in this if your husband tells you that you have ur identity then it becomes her biggest support .But I don't think makers are interested in HS right now to make him say this .Right now HS can say opposite of it .

Even though he literally spent sleepless nights advising her and coaching her on all these aspects. The old HS would never want Babita to become like this, but the current one, who knows?

And yes, you touched upon an important point. In order to keep women happy, men need not go through emotional abuse. Aur ab jab aap aur mein yeh bol rahe hain to sab humein Babita ko bash karne ke liye blame karenge.

That security blanket can serve his needs to a certain point but not for long. He's too emotional and sensitive to tolerate it for the long term. He knew what he was getting into with this marriage but I think he overestimated his ability to cope with her.

And it's a shame that he is put in a position to have to "cope" with his supposed life partner.

That's what I'm wondering too.....he's actually a super sensitive and emotional guy.....side benefits alone won't fulfill those other needs he has.....and yes sadly, he seems to have overestimated his abilities to compartmentalize and make this marriage work simply with superficial appeasement....he thinks just getting some affection from Babita will be enough to give him contentment.....you are so wrong, HS ji....so wrong.....he doesn't even realize this much about himself.....sigh.

I actually find it depressing that women are being portrayed like this.....showing a woman heaping emotional abuse on a man who loves her....are they expecting us to blindly justify Babita's behavior simply because we're women and HS is a man? Abuse is abuse.....I'll call it when I see a woman facing it as I saw Babita facing it with Ashok and I'll call it with a man facing it too.....Babita is emotionally abusing both HS and Mini in my opinion.....and that is why both of them are suffocating in this facade in the long run.

Sometimes victims of abuse and trauma themselves become abusive, sadly.

@ bold 2 looks like even that was a facade he isnt bothered about all the coaching given. Dosent seem to see the change in Babita. looks like he is living this marriage superficially. With babita with mini too.

Yes, right now he absolutely is living it superficially only....he seems stuck....like he doesn't know how to approach either mother or daughter so he keeps things on a surface level with both....as long as people are smiling and not crying, he doesn't want to think beyond that for now....

HS bhi Babita ke saath reh reh ke escapist na ban jaaye.....lol

Dunno if he can break out of this bubble and come back to his real self.

In a way I kind of get why he's doing this. He's seen so much suffering in this haveli that he doesn't want it to be repeated. What he told NB before he opened up his mother's room is what he's afraid to see happen this time round, but he doesn't realize that if he doesn't address the problems early on, they all will end up in a big mess. LOL this will be like crying after chidiya chug gayi khet.....the damage is happening right in front of his eyes and he's turning his head away.....then blame kisko karein? It shouldn't come as a shock to him that eventually Babita will sit and cry only as the house of cards falls.

Will he learn anything from it though? That's what we wonder......aise toh tears nahin khatam hote....you have to build meaningful relationships....not facades of appeasement.

And let's not even talk about his mother's room....lol that's a real sore point for me....that they are busy doing shakala boom boom in that room every night without once having spoken of the emotional history of that room, of the friggin pictures on the walls😕😆.....
