Cause karvachauth is not done everywhere in India

Coz it's a Punjabi thing and neither RS nor DP are Punjabis...

maybe rs and dp just don't celebrate karwa chauth, there are many that don't it, it depends on what traditions their families follow

Its not really only a Punjabi thing. UPites do it as well. However in this case RS is Sindhi and Sindhis dont celebrate Karwachauth
