I too watched it on theatre.. me , my mom and my cousin, only we 3 went 😳.. Though I liked the movie, appo avlo impact illa.. reason being the makers themselves promoted it like saying it'll be like Kushi movie (Kushi-2 nu kooda sonnadhaa nyaabagam)..

leads' characterisation were similar to Kushi.. Mumtaz ku badhilaa here Bipasha came with one item song..

But later on TV la comedy scenes paarthu paarthu it became one of my favourite movie.. me too like Genelia in this .. Vijay also will look Cute ❤️

As Sandhya said, time of release could also be another reason for not becoming hit at that time..

I think the movie I watched the most of his on TV is Chembaruthi....loved all songs

Cheran movie - family values irukum, relationship value katirupanga nu nambi theatre Ku poiten...

Eppada viduvinganu ayiduchu... No strong story, mokka comedy, over acting... Mudiyala.
