Though, the two separate scenes showed yet again how they're really not a unit. Babes & Minnie didn't have that heart to heart and was more light with the cake cutting, gift giving, laughter and happiness. But Minnie & HS' scene was a bit more on the heavier side. It was filled with dejection, sense of failure and what they expect from each other.

If it hadn't been for the shaadi and the change in dynamics, I'm ready to bet that a HUGE surprise party would have been planned for Minnie and it truly would have been a day that she would have never forgotten.

I've realised that it's this hoping for perfection in life that creates all the drama. Why can't things be just like they are? Yeh kya zabardasti hai ki sab perfect hona chahiye?

So now everyone is going to walk around with fake smiles

HS pretending he is a father to VB

All to make Babes reassured ? Is she a child ..lady is 35 year old twice married with an adult kid ..come on man this is over the top now

HS doesn’t bother even calling VB to wish her a HB..he awkwardly shakes her hand and wishes her ? Doesn’t buy her anything thoughtful and blows off his mistake just like that

Especially when it comes to relationships. What's a perfect father or a perfect mother? Perfect daughter or son?

There's no such thing. You just be the best that you can be.
