I saw bits and pieces of 1971 Malayalam movie on TV. Someone was playing this character. It was pretty good actually

Sriram is what that is going to be different here as he has interesting way of telling stories. This is incredible story of incredible courage which needs to be told. Can't rule out this one because others are making it too

Maybe.. success of an Army movie like Uri has brought back Army / Biopic kind of movies back in BW.. 🤔

Even Janhvi’s movie is a Biopic.. but difference is.. it’s an Airforce pilot biopic..

Yes there is also janhvis movie aswell which is a soldier biopic, but hers is different coz its telling the story of the first female indian airforce pilot

I didn't rule it out, I just said many soldier biopics are being made

So excited for this, finally a movie for me to look forward to, trusting Sriram to make an unadulterated War film sans glorification of the same, glad him & Varun still have the same rappo, even though that of rejected Andhadhun for effs sake 🙄

Anyway hope he has 3 releases in 2020, hoping for something really special performance wise.

I like the idea of this movie, and given it's Sriram who's helming this project, hopefully the subject will be handled gracefully. Only thing I have a bad feeling about in this is Varun. First Sid being cast as Vikram Batra and now Varun here. Both seem miscast. Let's see how the movie pans out.
