I wouldn't mind the mutton stew ads tbh. This reminds me of a super funny incident with my friend btw. She was looking for this toilet seat cover once upon a time and then FB wouldn't stop suggesting toilet seat covers to her for days. She asked me "do they not realise sometimes I think about other things also in life?" Too much fun I had 😆

Yes, I troll my male leads in stories a lot I have realised. It is my guilty pleasure. So laugh on 😆

I totally share your friend's sentiments. I don't understand the logic behind repetitively showing the same Ads. As if I had a short term memory, and I need to be reminded every 15 minutes about the boots I casually looked at. And some of those Ads are so obnoxious! I am afraid to open IF from office laptop these days.

its great to receive pm's but i never understand the fuss about it. i follow a lot of stories and its upon me to check if there's a new update. the writer can concentrate of writing and posting..following the update is readers calling.

Google is becoming more intelligent than we think. Ever ready to auto fill phone and address details, ever ready to offer suggestions, ever ready to pop up adds which either we searched before or we typed, so on and so forth.

Unknowing to us every thing is linked and at the beginning it freaked me out. I went to this birthday party at a remote area couple of years ago. The surroundings were beautiful. When I was taking photos, a screen kept popping up asking me whether the function center name be tagged or not? For a second I thought, how the hell did the phone know the location, when I did not change any settings. I figured out later that the default setting for My location was enabled. I have to disable it if I don't want to be tracked.

The old idea was to disable everything and the user can enable what they want. The new idea is enable everything until the unsuspecting user realizes that something is wrong and disable it.

I know, the phone is called smart for a reason. I want it to be smart when I need something, I don't want it to act smart with me. 😊
