Well in HS' defense, he didn't know that it was her birthday. If he had, then he would have told her right away. And who knows, he might just think that her pensive state is because of her exams.

Yeahh, and considering how much she was blushing because of him over the phone, I don't think she knows the truth.

Arre he did that to protect Minnie. If she had seen Babes sick she wouldn’t have been able to concentrate on exams. Remember the last time when she missed exams to get Babes shoes. HS knows Minnie is capable of such stupidities that is why he didn’t want her to know too much.

Who knows he must have thought exam miss karke dawai na lene chali Jai!

YUPP. I said the same thing. Maybe she has really bad menstrual cramps and wants to just be pampered by her mom. I know I used to and it would be so bad that I would cry every time. My mom would pamper me and take care of me.
