I was talking abt the issue of transsexuals to my friend yesterday and he said to me "It is a question of environment". And I thought, how narrow-minded of him. But men are like that - really prejudiced against their own. My brothers are like that too - they treat transsexuals with contempt, ridicule and think they are easy targets for jokes. 😕

Yesterday, we, as in my mum and I got a chance to catch up on Jackpot. Coincindentaly, the participants were transsexuals.

Kushboo, highlighted the plights of the pariticipants and the woman who is their mentor/back bone of these ladies. Apparently, JayaTV is the first TV station to highlight the plight of the ladies.

One of my brother started to make jokes, and immediately we told him off. 😡 Then when the programme was over, my mum started to give me and my brother the background of a transsexual. She made my brother to sit down and listen to her. 😃

Hopefully he learns a lesson.
