MAK and Shamita ruled item songs in 2000's. Personally i think she is better dancer than Shilpa technically.

No she wasn't queen of item songs. Not even close.

Kuch bhi... Malaika and Mallika were the item queens of that time. Shamita was not a popular item girl. Even Yana Gupta, Koena Mitra were more popular item girls than her.

Queen is Malaika.. But as Mayya Mayya was way popular than any of Shamita's songs I took Mallika's name. Who were the item queens in your opinion?

I wouldn’t call her the queen per say, but Sharara and Chori pe chori were quite underrated when they came out and deserved more appreciation. I just realized that in both songs Shamita is used as a way to to entice the male character so he strays away from his current love interest. I would personally kill my future husband if he danced with a random chick like that.🤬😆
