YRF ventures to a new way

Yash Raj Films is a major movie studio in their rights. The studio however works a little differently because no one from the outside was earlier entertained to come and make movies with the studio like they would with all the other studios in the market. But that all is going to change. According to highly placed sources the movie studio is now breaking their working mould style and reimagining it from ground up. The studio headed by late Yash Chopra’s son Aditya is going to be now open to joint venture and co-productions with outside producers on films they feel strongly about. Our sources further revealed that the studio has locked first deal with filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s Luv Films for a couple of films’ exclusive deal. The first movie in question to come out of this collaboration is going to be one we spoke about last week in this very column. The film is going to be directed by Ranjan himself and is going to be have Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the leading roles. Rest of the details about the film is currently under wraps and an official announcement with YRF’s tag is going to be made shortly. It is great to a see YRF take this new route in their professional journey because in the time of very few studios things needed a change and with this one we cannot imagine a bigger change for the industry.
