Empowerment is not for everyone

Based on the update, this is what I’m gathering.

Babita never really wanted to work and empower herself in life. All she really wanted at the end of the day was a husband and the comfort of a home.

Even after going through such a bad experience, her world really didn’t expand beyond the basics - shaadi, pati ka pyar and housewife banna.

Which goes to show that not every woman WANTS to be empowered....some are quite content in a cocoon....Babita seems to be one of those.

Based on how she’s talking, it’s now sounding like everyone pushed her into setting up her business. It wasn’t what she really wanted.

And now she expects her 18 year old daughter who still hasn’t completed college to run the business on her behalf? 😕😆

Yeh Babita toh escapist nikli. LOL....this isn’t even about indulgence now....she’s actively shirking responsibility for anything that isn’t related to her doing seva of pati 🤷‍♀️

So maybe that just goes to show that she really didn’t want the independence....it was forced on her by Mini....who mistakenly thought her mother wanted to fly....but she didn’t really....lol she still just wants to hide in the comfort of the nest.

Actually, I'm beginning to think that CVs are trying to show Babita being empowered by choosing what she wants to do in her life. If she wants to be a housewife, fine, her wish. It's the only explanation that makes some sense.

what kind if nonsense is babes talking about? She worked so hard to stand on her own feet and now she isn't bothered what happens to business. What kind of women empowerment are they showing. The whole 200 episodes were also about babita getting financially stable on her own feet. Now what is the use.

And why is mini supposed to work for her business and isn't she supposed to study. And if mini is working isn't she supposed to get a salary so that people dont threaten her to throw her out if the house just because she is dependent on babes but in reality she is not. With what right hs was telling her that she should be thankful her babes is keeping her in this house.

And now isn't babita doing the same mistake she did in marriage with ashok being financially not stable and dependant on people. After working so hard she is not bothered about it. What are the writers upto.

I do not find any sense in this. She has worked so hard to get it set up. And there is a thing called responsibility. I think their loan when they bought the shop was based on a partnership with a firm who is now sharing profits with them. If her business goes down she will be in major trouble for paying off the loan. What kind of empowerment is this. it is taking decision without any mind or thought behind. Empowerment ke naam oe you just cannot do whatever u wish to

Yes, choice Ofcourse is the crux of everything. I’m not saying wanting to be a housewife is bad.

It’s just strange to see a woman who has tasted independence and freedom, then choose to shirk it. Even worse, dumping her own responsibilities on her kid who still hasn’t completed college. That’s just laziness.

When you go through such a horrible time in your life of being made to struggle to sustain yourself financially, usually you value the fact that work gives you stability.

But some women just want to sit at home all their lives. Babita seems to be one of those. And if that is her own independent choice, it’s fine.

Hum maan lenge that once again it’s Mini’s fault for trying to help build her Mom’s life from the ashes 🤷‍♀️😂....her definition of flying is very different from that of her mom. Her mom just wants to fly within the boundaries of a home only.

This is like watching Babita from Episode 1.

Khud ko bhulake pyar karna.

Lady that cost you 17 years of Your life. You learned to have individuality and independence in this one year.. all down the drain.

I can’t with khud ko bhulake pyar.. Never the best thing. One must have his/her sanity, individuality intact.

Poor Mini was so excited. Writers are sadistic.

This is the weirdest thing in all of this to me. On one hand, Babita says Mini is a kid who doesn’t know anything and should focus on her exams. On the other hand, she’s like, I don’t want to work, just let Mini do all my work? Hain? 😕😆

I guess a person’s core nature never changes. Independence doesn’t come naturally to Babita. She’s is like a creeper that always wants to wrap itself around a pole....she doesn’t WANT to stand on her own two feet. Humesha koi chahiye to cling to.

It’s like she only worked hard cuz she didn’t have a husband then toh kaam karna pada. Ab husband mil gaya toh no need to work. She didn’t view work as a tool for empowerment I guess. It was just a means to an end 🤷‍♀️

Could it be that they want her to remember what she learned the hard way?

That don’t lose yourself in love. That’s never the better way. She did that once and it cost her so many years of her life.

Now again she is on the same path. This is averting everything she went to in this one year.

Hoping against hope that this would be the end goal. Don’t compromise your individuality and independence. But these days execution is so worse that I am scared even if they want to show this.

If any problem arises, she will just lash out and blame Mini. 🤷‍♀️

It’s obvious now given the way she’s expecting Mini to run everything on her behalf 🙄

Individuality and independence is not for everyone.....some people don’t know how to handle independence. They are more comfortable in their safe spaces.
