I can't even find people belonging to my caste in Bollywood or Hollywood, even though I am from a privileged general category.

This is the first time i am coming across such a topic .. And i think it is utter garbage .. Not even worth discussing .. Moving on .. 😒

I hope they dont apply reservation there too. My rich roomate had his whole college and hostel fees paid off. Whereas my frnd who was poor had to pay all of his fees by selling land etc

Reservation should be ended with one generation. A child of two lecturers shouldnt be given 👎🏼

Reservation is BS these days .... instead of caste based reservation they should have "need based reservation" if they really want to keep up with it!

Yup my mom during high school. Taught a student who became teacher after graduating. Few years passed and she was promoted earlier than my mother.

Yup economic based is fine

If they want to uplift poor. Like if someone's family is poor, give it to their children. When children gets settled, end it there. But keeping it continue generation after generation is so wrong.

This is causing more divide bcoz people say " he or she got job even after getting less marks and i scored more and still didnt get it. It causes more bitterness. One of my cousin had to score over 650 marks this year in neet to get MBBS seats in govt college bcoz she cant afford 50 lakhs mbbs fees whereas her friend got better college with half of the mark. My other cousin scored 500 plus but didnt get any good college. Now he hates the friend . How could anyone justify it. When friend's dad is doctor whereas my cousin dad is just a simple teacher "

50 lakhs for MBBS!... wow it's hard to imagine how expensive colleges have become these days!

I don't know why government isn't even initiating to think about eradication or at least modification of reservation! ... I would think it's about time ... 🙄
