There was a lot that happened but the major showdown is yet to come on Monday. Which... I'm dreading tbh.

They really have made some absurd alterations to the characters. I'm choosing not to think about what they have in store for us. Anything I hope for is anyways always far off the mark to what they give us. And given their current state of things, I'm dreading whatever they have planned.

After that writers started doing character assignation, and the first one was HS, when he said those Paraya Mard etc etc. And after that everything got bad, though we got some good moments in between but not like PB used to be. That was the Dheere Jalna episode right? If so, that was a really beautiful episode. For me, they missed the mark when Babita tried to get HS to stop drinking. Most of the episode was fine, but they really lost it when Babita came downstairs and tried to get him to stop. Of course the paraya mard was no better and the whole way she reacted upon learning about Imarti was not expected nor well done in my opinion.

Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder what changed their minds and made them finally show it.

The biggest problem in the show in my opinion, was the imbalance. Minnie all of a sudden became too mature as she started to understand everything and began participating in issues that would have been better assisted by an adult like Babita. On the flip side, Babita became too childish and very immature. All of a sudden, we're being made to believe that she knows nothing about parenting, which makes me wonder what the heck she did in the first 17 years of her life.

I don't feel as connected to the show either. At this point, I'm just watching it for Anirudh.

Loved HS-NB scene. There's something more coming our way on that. You perfectly described this scene. This was a highlight of the episode for me.

Babita was being rational when talking with NB, she says she trusts Mini, but she's scared... so I kinda understood her fears. However, the entire episode was out of place. How did Babita go from that mindset from NB's place to lashing at Mini didn't make sense to me at all?!?!?

This news of Babita getting pregnant already when they have just been married for 2 weeks is just not sitting well with me. WTFFF are the writers tryna show??? How can Hanita already get pregnant makes no sense. I would have loved to see a proper pregnancy track. Also, this leap news has just made me sad and I am dreading whats to come next.

Also, this MMP going off on an adventure out of nowhere... Idk nothing makes sense as of now. Literally the best show out there going down the drain is just upsetting me 😒

Also, How does Babita go from this state to romancing with HS??? 🤔

I hope we get to see more HS & NB scenes as well. They're both absolutely fabulous together!

Well, the connect that I was able to make between those scenes is the discussion on how a child takes on after their parents. Irfaan is in complete defiance to what his mom wants, and given Naeem Bi's nature, it makes us wonder who he went after. Maybe his dad given how he used to abuse his wife? Then, there's the fact that Kammo had dropped that little seed that Minnie is taking after her and Meeta. So are there qualities that Minnie would have picked up from her? After all, she did seem to like her and was fond of her enough to want to learn some things from her. And while some behavioral characteristics may not be acted upon consciously, she may have learnt some things subconsciously. Over all, I don't think Babita had thought things through completely. She was obviously highly bothered and was trying to make sense of everything but Minnie running after Mickey and making a ruckus in general didn't help her. She just ended up blurting whatever came to mind and then kept going since she was already at it.

Given all that, I'm not sure as to why she left in such an angry mood. One moment, she was with Imraan and being a silent support to HS while he comforted Naeem Bi, and in the other, she rushes into the Haveli, huffing and puffing. The transition between those scenes was not smooth, it was very abrupt.

Loll, her shutting down Beeji was the best. Like, did she not learn her lesson the first time around during the wedding, jo aa gayi phir se sun ne ke liye. Her comparing Minnie to Meeta is irreversible. It can't be undone and it's a major blow to the system. There's no way that their relationship will carry on as it used to. It will change.

As for the precap, I agree. Minnie's already talking about Hanita, so if she carries on to make a lewd comment about them, I guess Babita will get triggered big time and end up slapping her. Not that it's right by any means.

LOLL, my dreams and hopes for Hanita have all been turned to dust. Tracks that would have been incredibly beautiful and heartwarming to watch, are now being treated like a joke. It's such a shame too since they could have done SO MUCH with them.

MMP's truck wala scene is just another case of might as well, considering what we've seen thus far.

LMAO, if they can find it in them to have sex whilst all these siyappe are happening around them, Babita can surely find the time for some romance. I both want to cry and laugh at the same time. After so long, we're finally getting some Hanita bonding moments, but at what cost? The relationship between a parent and a child? That's not fair.

Even I am watching this for Anirudh. I don’t watch indian tv shows because mostly are Saas bahus n too much EK type dramas, but came to know about this show and really loved it because it was different. Right now I have feeling something is missing and and kind of heart breaking really, don’t know how to explain...

As for Bobby, Babita has known him since he was a kid. And knowing him, there's no way he would have ran around without acknowledging Babita's presence first. But MMP all ignored her, especially when she told them to stop the first time around. Moreover, like she was telling Naeem Bi, she doesn't know Mickey all that well. But I don't see that as being either of MiMi's fault. If she wants to know more about Mickey, then all she has to do is ask.

Exactly! Everything she was saying to Naeem Bi, she could have said it to Kammo and shut her down right then and there. What's the point of saying it all after the fact? But even those words become moot given how she throws them right back at Minnie.

Aahh, thanks for the translation! Hmm, so Naeem Bi was telling Babita to learn how to be satisfied with things right? If so, then this is a piece of advice that's gonna go way over her head. 😆

Don't stress yourself over it, I know exactly how you feel. I went through something similar last week. That classic PB essence is missing from the show. The bonding moments that made the characters so unique, and special not only to us but for each other - it's all gone.

I wish that they're able to bring things back on track with S2, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Babita makes things everything needlessly complicated. Granted she has insecurities and fears, but the writers make her react a bit OTT when they could be handled in a much more mature manner.

I agree with you on Poonam. If she had been in Babita's life all the way through, then she could have helped her out a lot. So many of her insecurities could have been nipped in the bud, before they even had the chance to bloom and grow roots deep into her psyche. Friends are needed at every stage of your life. But as we grow, the kind of friends we need change as well. Given how Poonam is, she would have been an amazing friend to have no matter how old Babita would have been.

As for Minnie hiding things, after the debacle, I really doubt she would be willing to share anything with her. She has already resorted to writing in her diary rather than talk to her. Minnie needs space from Babita and Babita needs to give it to her. She won't push her away by doing so. Rather, she'll give her room to grow and truly become the most gorgeous girl in the world. Right now, Babita is on the verge of suffocating her by limiting the kinds of people she can meet and have interactions with. As such, she's doing what she feared of happening - Minnie going away from her.
