War Holds Firm On Friday

War held firm on Saturday as it recorded another day of 20 crore nett plus./ the collections of the film will be around 21-21.50 crore nett which is a minor drop from yesterday. the total collections of the film will be 95 crore nett plus.

The film could have had a bigger drop as Ek Tha Tiger which was in the same genre and had a huge Wednesday release with working days after had a drop of 20% and here the drop is under 10%. There is a change in how business works now as its more heavily loaded towards the weekend now and this could have pushed War on Friday evening.

Despite the strong numbers till date it is important that the film sees strong growth over the weekend as that would be a good sign for the weekdays. The film is being helped by Durga Puja in the East as circuits like West Bengal and Bihar are recording strong collections but that boost is negated by the average showing in Gujarat / Saurashtra due to Navratri.

Joker is doing pretty well as it showed some growth on Friday as it got extra screenings from Friday onward. The film collected around 4.25 crore nett on Friday and has a total of around 13.75 crore nett in three days which is a decent number for a film released on under 500 screens.

Not only as a diehard HR fanboy....but he also comes across as a genuinely sweet and humble person....which is really refreshing among the current younger lot in bw 😳

@LadyMacbeth Yes exactly! I mean his HR adulation is adorable but even in general, he's just soo likeable. He's respectful and humble as you said. Honestly speaking I haven't really been a fan of his acting but his personality alone makes one want to root for him. So glad he's getting recognized for his acting in this one 👏

For those who have watched, I know there hasn't been scope for much, but how were Hrithik and Vaani as a couple?

You're completely right about there not being any scope. Because there truly isn't any .

But I loved their dynamic. Not as a couple though.

Which means , will they work in a full fledged love story as a romantic lead pair ?? Answer is a - Big No.

According to Jackie Shroff, Tiger idolized, loved and looked up to HR since he was 3-4 years old...a toddler..so of course 😆 . Also...you have to just look at his face when he looks at HR and you can see that Tiger genuinely adoes HR...he is not consciously doing anything...the admiration is just so palpable...it seems to radiate from him . It's too cute to be honest 😳.

Btw...I severely criticized Tiger in all his previous projects ( even a bit unfairly sometimes) , none of which I saw on big screen....but I must say he did pretty decent job in this movie...in fact in some sequences, I was actually pretty impressed with him...wish I could discuss the movie scene by scene...but can't yet...
