Thoughts on the current confusing complications of YRHPK

Hi everyone :)

I've been wanting to write down all these various thoughts running in my mind, since the new Baba track has begun 😃. And after today's episode, there seems to be way to many plots, twists, secrets and character graphs going on all at once 🤪it's almost quite confusing and too much to handle. 😛

Although, I completely agree that the Baba storyline is super interesting and long awaited 😃, there seems to be numerous loopholes and story gaps that we have yet to receive any hints of closure from previous episodes. I hope the writers know what they're doing 😳 and pull their game together in unfolding all the various mysteries and uncovered truths properly and tactfully. #keepingfaith #keepingpatience

Part1: SPOILER ALERT* for 2nd oct

Let me start at the beginning of today's episode;

Bravo for Baba interrupting Abir opening the gift – a direct punch back to Nanu stopping Abir yesterday from feeding Baba the cake. And it was fantastic to see Baba completely owning up to his mistakes, flaws and responsibility. He kept it simple, short and direct to the point, it was almost like Baba knew that the envelope was about his past and decided to bring it out in the open verbally in front of Abir , rather than wrapping it with lies and false hopes like Nanu and Meenu did.

Like what were they really thinking? Are they mad? In what world do they think Abir would simply read those newspapers and documents, ask Baba questions then throw him out!? Do they even know Abir? Even after his heart-wrenching breakdown last night, it still hasn’t fricking drilled in their hollow heads and hearts, how much Baba means to Abir, and how unhappily he has been hiding his pain . Abir has already clearly stated to them that he knows it is possible, Meenu is right and Baba is wrong, but that still doesn’t give them the right to fool him or further manipulate him. Yet here they are again trying to pull Abir away from Baba by disguising these documents and papers and forcing them in his face, in the name of a ‘present’ for his birthday! Are you out of your mind? A little later in the episode, Nanu preaches to Parul on how he can’t bear to see tears in his childrens’ eyes… what nonsense! Even after him seeing Abir’s tears last night, Nanu was ready to expose the truth by covering it up in an envelope, rather than talking to Abir straight up.

I felt Nanu's dialogue didn't make sense here -> Infact Meenu was doing exactly what he thought (what happened to the writers here?)

Honestly, I don’t know how Abir is able to still smile and be happy around Nanu and Meenu after all they lied to him and how hurt he was the night before. How is this young man able to wake up and put that beautiful smile on his face (Shaheer is just pure heart and love - how can you not fall in love with that gorgeous expression) and accept Nanu’s fake speech about gift-giving?Abiiir, kis mitti ke banne ho tum, yaar? He was so eager to open the ‘gift’, but Baba’s straightforward confession also startled Abir. Despite all the wild reactions – from Parul and Meenu, Abir still maintained his composure and firmly declared his limited yet entrenched understanding of Baba’s teachings and personality. He has every bloody right to find out the truth on his own terms and make up his own decision and opinion! GO for it Abir! Your support for Baba is what will help Baba stand up for himself and the truth against Big ben

Part 2: general writing issues, complications and confusions...

I wonder why the writers and production of the show have decided to leave many previous plotlines as cliffhangers or just simply unfinished.

Before the entry of Abir's father, there were already many previous plotlines, loopholes and truths that needed to be dealt with. All the mishaps, miscommunications and mistakes during the course of Kuku's marriage have yet to be brought up or discussed, let alone solved, all these chaos simply adds to the current confusion in Baba's story and frankly messes up the clarity of the current and past character graphs.

1. Mishti's haldi drama----

BP clearly knows that Mishti did not confess Kuhu's birth identity on her own terms but under the influence of Meenu. He stayed quiet on Kuhu's wedding day but ensured he will get to the bottom of this later...what happened there? Writers...hello? The rest of the Maheshwari family are still unknown to the fact that Meenakshi was the reason for Mishti's out of character debacle. We deserve a Meenu vs BP confrontation (it's looong overdue).

On a similar note;

2. Mishbir's relationship---

This precious friendship solidified into real love when Abir successfully stopped Mishti at the airport and brought her back home for Kuhu's wedding. Although Abir confessed that he knew Mishti leaving was due to Meenakshi, it's still unclear if he truly knows the root cause. I highly doubt whether Abir really knows that Mishti put up the haldi drama and ran away due to Meenu's objection to their love, rather not just because of Kunal and Meenu's hatred against Mishti. Before all this commotion could be dealt with, Abir and Mishti's relationship has now already been revealed to the Maheshwaris and accepted by BM and BP.

Abir believes that Nanu, Kunal and Jugnu (and perhaps now Parul maasi) know about his love for Mishti and their solid relationship. Although he knows Meenu would never agree to Mishti, I doubt whether he knows that she has always known and caused much of the drama that has occurred. #wedeservejustice

3. Kunal and Kuhu's real equation---

The real equation between Kuhu and Kunal. Both Kuhu and Meenu know that Kunal is not happy with this marriage and doesn't love Kuhu. So how are both Kuhu and Meenu so calm, composed and amicable with one another? Meenu never liked the Maheshwari sisters (ofc hates Mishti more, but didn't like Kuhu either). But from the first day after marriage, we haven't seen any hostility between them...(writers really have left a big gap here). How could any girl maintain composure after learning her so-called husband and mother-in-law have completely fooled her into believing they agreed for this marriage whole-heartedly..and now saas and bahu are completely normal? how? The character changes make no sense..

Now in the most recent episodes we are witnessing Kunal's change in approach towards dealing with Kuhu as his wife. Just about a week or 2 ago, he was hell-bent on getting this divorce underway, he was serious in somehow proving Kuhu is mentally challenged (which ironically might be easy, given her sporadic and split-personality behaviour ). Either way, the writers seemed to have dropped Kunal's persistence and now randomly transitioned to him weirdly agreeing with her random words of twisted advice With the focus now being on Baba's re-entry into the house and family, the writers have oddly put Kuhu and Kunal's toxic relationship on hold or even trying to change it positively - it doesn't seem to have a proper smooth flow at all. And Kuhu...damn where do I start? She is probably the most confusing and perplexed character in this mess at the moment. One moment she feels sorry for Abir and slight regret for Mishti and then the immediate next second she back-stabs them both real hard

Honestly I don't think Kuhu and Kunal are fit as a couple at all, they don't compliment each other in personality - they are both equally childish and crazy. To fall in love, they need to understand each other and have basic friendship (which they have clearly lost).

I think abir knowing about meenu involvement thoroughly will not happen .. these are issues which will further tear meenu and abir ..

Kuhu Kunal will be like this only their divorce tussle will never be the main story ..

In fact when Kunal being the adopted child truth will come out .. Kunal will get emotional support from kuhu .. also there might be some relationship souring between Rajvansh and maheshwari.. kuhu being pulled back to the house ..

It can also be mishti being the bridge between meenu and abir baba ..

Unless baba is suffering from terminal illness .. this character is here to stay Long term in the series .. issues between him and meenu , about Kunal , Parul all these will be there with Mishbir sortingvout everything

From what I understood, Mishti hasn't revealed Meenu's involvement in the haldi fiasco in detail on purpose. She knows Abir's relationship with his mom is strained and if he comes to know that his mom blackmailed her just to separate him from her, he will probably hate her after that. Its a silly excuse and frankly dangerous too because Abir deserves to know and he is the only one who understands his mom's twisted mind to an extent.

Regarding Kunal & Kuhu, I think the writers are trying to show that Kunal can't help but be nice to her despite all the hate on the surface and his plotting to divorce her. What they are trying to show is that he did not want this marriage & wants to get rid of her but he sees her being this amazing bahu & cant help but be drawn to her 🤣 Its the classic Indian TV troupe the writers are trying to play out with this couple but its not coming through well due to some of the inconsistency and probably our lack of investment in these characters 😆

That being said, am waiting for the following truths to be revealed-

- Abir saving Mishti on two occasions when credit was given to Kunal

- Kunal's involvement in the marriage fiasco and the fact that he agreed to get married just to separate Abir-Mishti

- Kuhu's involvement in the email fiasco, causing Mishti's fall & her active involvement in trying to separate Abir-Mishti

- Meenu paying Shweta to ditch Kunal, blackmailing Mishti to separate her from Abir etc.

The CVs are probably saving up some of these revelations for drama in the future but I just want all this to be eventually exposed 😆

Kunal's involvement in the shaadi fiasco might come out when the Kunal-Kuhu divorce issue blows up just to make Abir feel even more guilty that all this tamasha happened indirectly because of him 😆And Meenu paying Shweta might also come out after Kunal gets to know she is not his real mother to make him hate her further. Baaki sab ka koi bharosa nahi 🤣
