Karan Johar slammed for interviewing Ma Anand Sheela

Ma Anand Sheela has a humongous fan following but she has a huge crowd which contradicts her thoughts. They trolled Karan left, right and center for interviewing a controversial personality.

Just a day ago, Karan Johar posted a picture on his social media account narrating that he got a chance to interview Ma Anand Sheela. She was the infamous secretary and spokesperson of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh aka Osho and is still very fresh in the memories of people for the 1984 bio terror attack on the people of The Dalles, Oregon. She was found guilty by the state of US and was sentenced to an imprisonment of 20 years but was out on parole just after 39 months.

Karan's act of interviewing her, although garnered a lot of praise from his colleagues but there was a section of the community which was clearly miffed with Karan for interviewing a controversial personality.

After his interview, while sharing the Instagram post, even Karan wrote,“She is fun forthright and fabulous! Dodging every answer in her inimitable fashion! She is controversial without revealing a thing! Now that’s an art! She is witty and never at a wits end!”.

Now when the Times of India quizzed Sheela about who should play her onscreen, she replied, "I think there is a movie being made in Bollywood and I hope Alia Bhatt will play my role." She further said, "When I say that, it is my wish, my choice of actress. She looks a bit like me and she has a bit of spunk in her like me."
