Next time ask your dentist to apply gel or give an injection to numb the area.

I can tolerate pain, but my dentist offered when he had to treat a sensitive tooth and since then I am taking that offer for regular clean ups as well.

I loved the whole interaction between Khushi and Payal. I loved a calm and composed Payal of this story. What can I say about Arnav and his (blind) love for his Di?

NASA pays people to sleep for about 70 to 80 days? Let me check for positions vacant at NASA.

Anjali tried to take an appointment and pass it on to Arnav like really? Does she think he is her candy sucking Chote from like 25 years ago who would believe whatever she says?

Oh Boy, Arnav should not be allowed any where near his sister especially when she was sitting in a dentist's chair. Khushi has done a great job by controlling herself in time without drilling into Anjali's jaw or tongue.

Drilling se yaad aaya, I used to have an ancient and scary looking dentist's drill in my office/lab. Whenever I use it, I used to say "I am armed and dangerous" and my colleagues used to pretend they are scared. My HSE Advisor thought we are having too much fun, so, she removed it from my office citing work health and safety hazards.

Oh I always get an injection if it's some legit issue. I'd faint with pain otherwise.

Yes, NASA does apparently. I was myself pretty jealous when I came to know.

Your story is very entertaining. If I were the HSE advisor, I would have joined you. But then, I have been severally advised in life to stay as far as possible from any instrument that can remotely cause any harm, accident prone that I am. 😆
