Intentions do not count here. I understand where he was coming from. Yet he crossed a line. A sincere apology was needed. I didn’t like be brushed it aside saying usne bhi mujhe baatein boli Hai. nope not the same.

Anyways, I agree with you. It's this thing that had fcked with my mind so badly the other day. How can HS say something like that on purpose and then not even feel the need to apologize for it? And worse, he didn't see anything wrong with it?

Bruh, just because you didn't get offended by her comments, doesn't mean that she'll take it in the same vein. She's not you. She's Babita, a woman who is highly sensitive to what people have to say about her. She was just ripped apart as if she was nothing. And to think, he claims that he loves her.

I was just saying in another post that he can't just think that Babita would react to things the way he did. It was his decision not to take her words to heart but that doesn't mean she would take things the same way.

He realized on that jhumka day that the way he has learned to love was not going to "work" in this relationship. He would have to adjust his ways and the way he expresses himself with Babita. With Imarti he could go all out, bare everything, and she could not only take it but give it right back to him. Babita is a different person, and he should learn to be her husband not just a husband. We often assume that when a person remarries, he or she will find it easy to be a spouse due to past experience, but that is not necessarily true. It's a good message to society. Also those in abusive marriages need spouses who can really really handle them well. They married too soon.

As for his claims of love, I think he believes he does. But that's what happens when you get married and actually start living with someone - love is not the only thing that matters. A relationship takes so much more and today I saw the first sign of that: sharing. Even if it was in small amounts but at least both of them were doing it.

I have been meaning to write about that scene in the kitchen for its brilliance. I loved the way they framed the shots to have Irfan and HS facing each other but with a pillar between them. The look on both their faces when they realized that Minnie had overheard Irfan was quite remarkably similar, that of a parent. Irfan, no matter what his intentions, would not have wanted Minnie as a kid to hear all this - you could see the concern on his face as a father that he would have had not just for his kid but any kid, because they need to be protected from such stuff. You know what I mean?

HS had the same look in his eyes, but it went even deeper this time. I saw something on his face that we've never seen on this show, and to juxtapose it with Irfan standing next to him was sheer brilliance. HS not only read her face and eyes, but observed every single thing about her demeanor, and the tremors in her voice. He didn't need to talk to her about it afterwards, he just knew. As you know, I've been really keen to see him focus on the micros in her life, and I am super happy that we saw that today.

At the same time, I remember his conversation with NB about how he had looked after his sharaabi bapu despite everything, and how in this scene he could understand exactly where Minnie had stood, being there himself. I also saw this fierce over-protectiveness take over his eyes, that he wouldn't let Irfan or anyone else hurt Minnie by hurting people she loved.

The pillar also hinted at the difference between HS and Irfan as fathers and as sons. No matter what happened in the world of grown ups, HS would never teach his kid(s) bad things about adults, like Irfan had taught Imran that Beeji was jhanjhat dadi. Even if she is, I don't think adults should drag kids into such things or taint their innocent minds this way. Also, HS would be a very different son to NB than Irfan is. When Irfan asked questions in a roundabout way HS suspected where this was going and asked him to spill out what was really on his mind. Despite everything that had happened, he took NB's side and also did not malign the Khuranas, which he could have done very easily since they were supposedly talking in private. He did no such thing and kept the discussion to facts - they were tenants and NB herself had rented the room out. I know we will see more of this difference in their mindsets as so, but it was pretty clear that we'd get more insight into this.

I really applaud the screenplay and the balcony shot was fantastically directed! Real work of art.

The actor playing Irfan is doing a great job, every emotion of his is portrayed with just the right measure. I wasn't expecting this much from a cameo, to be honest.

Yes . The actor playing Irfan is doing a great job. He is the representation of what most of the sons/daughters today are, a bit selfish but not necessarily evil. He asked some really valid questions. We must applaud the casting director for choosing appropriate actors even for a cameo.

I don't trust the CVs anymore. They can do whatever the fck they want, but I really doubt it'll satisfy me as a viewer anymore.

very very well said , i totally enjoyed the scene . don't know if the look irfan had once he found minni hearing it all was deliberately done or it just came out but i really loved the way the scene was carried out .

coming to hs , am soo satisfied to see that HS got it all . again reflected the bond he shares with minni , it brought back the fond memories , i hope they remain like this & nothing should take away their support for each other .
