Im sorry but theres no other Bollywood actress who has aged with grace and can dance so elegantly even being 45+

Nor Sri, ash, rani, priety, rekha, juhi - no body can match Madhuri when it comes to being the ultimate dancing QUEEN

Also, shame on KJO for not giving Madz a good dance sequence in Kalank. She has way more potential and would have easily overshadowed Aloo

Before Kalank got released, at first people ridiculed its cast for being nepos (Madhuri being the exception), but the real hate began when Ghar More Pardesiya was released and people saw Aloo's elephant-like jumps and ridiculous expressions. He and Alia wanted to prove that Alia is an all-rounder. Also to get SLB to notice her. But Aloo baby cannot do period films, she lacks the grace and aura and the extreme weight loss makes her look more child like. Even Sonakshi looked btr than Alia in Kalank.

Everyone was trolling the movie, mostly because of KJo. The audience isnt as dumb and simple as they used to be till the 90s. I had a strong gut feeling even when the movie was announced that its gonna flop...even tho it had some great actors like Madhuri, Sanjay, ARK...not a huge fan of Sona but I knew she would look great because she rocks that vintage Indian wear.

Can you imagine they went to the extent to screw up Madhuri's outfits and makeup to make her look older, she was giving subtle to no expressions throughout the film JUST to highlight Alia. People thought she doesnt have it any more but DUHH she proves you wrong with this performance.

If KJo was smart and not let his stupidass ego come in the way, Kalank would've been a much better movie. Alia was a huge disappointment since the time the cast was announced, but even a bigger disappointment when she was given the better songs while Madhuri was made to stand in the corner.

Alia, stop trying to be Deepika. Deepika became number 1 because of her film choices. She never tried to become Katrina, her predecessor. She made her own unique identity. The fact that actors like Alia and now Ananya get trolled all the time because they are wannabes, imitators and are relying on a producer, chosing the easy way.

And learn KJo learn. The audience isnt stupid anymore. They care for content and not actors. Voh stars wala zamaana gaya, even the Khans need a good script to draw the audience. Give talent a chance instead of nepotism.

That's the absolute height of stupidity. That and having Madhuri and Sanjay in one film, and giving them ONE scene. And having a potential for a simple, but effective story (Varun's trying to repay his questionable parents), but focusing on the nonsensical, bland, Mary Sue-like character played by a bland actress.

Exactly. When Madhuri agreed to work with Sanjay after so many years they should have had at least a couple more scenes. And Alia's character was so irritating, trying to jump off the balcony coz she wasnt allowed to learn singing at Heera Mandi...I mean what the hell?!! Kuch bhi matlab!!

These stupidities people like KJo do lead to their downfall...they think they are bhagwan or something and can do anything and people will lap it up.
