I know, right? Aniruddh isn't a parent in real life, but the way he portrays those emotions of a father is just something else. I am so in awe of his caliber as a performer. He really makes you believe that this Haryanvi widower cop became Minnie's hero and father figure over time and managed to break through her defenses, even if HS himself had no kids of his own.

The smile gesture was special to me for two reasons. One, she mirrored his for the first time and it was a great throwback to the audio confrontation and hospital scene. Two, when Minnie made this gesture, even through her tears her smile finally reached her eyes, something which had been missing for a while. It also symbolized the fact that no matter who else she has in her life, he was the reason for her smiles, has been since she met him, and always will be.

@bold: SO beautifully put! .....No matter what....HE is the reason for that smile....the gesture becomes the manifestation of what he brought into her life....joy after a long dark period.....while Mini herself runs around trying to coax smiles out of her Babes or other ppl in her life, it is HS and HS alone who seeks and coaxes smiles out of Mini

Pyar toh bahut log karte hain Mini se.....but HS jaisa pyar koi nahin karta Mini se. Yo baat phinal hai :P

And yes, Babita is no state yet to actually be his humsafar in the true sense....he can't share his emotions for Imarti or his mom fully with her yet cuz she's still so much in her own head.....

But somehow, despite everything, his heart has chosen Babita only....he sees something in her that even she doesn't at this stage....and that is the Babita he will wait for no matter what I think.....he's committed to being her humsafar until whenever she manages to rise up to the same level as him in this marriage.....equal partners.

I think he did take a first pass at explaining to her that she never really understood love cuz she didn't understand haq in love.....now he will have to build on that with time to help her understand and resolve her perception of the past. Work in progress hain Babita ji.....lol

Yeah, I think he knew she was going to need work and a lot of support but perhaps he hadn't expected their married life to start with such dhamaka. It's proving a lot more complicated that he had expected.

One thing that stood out in his outburst was his dislike for roz roz ke jhagde. I think he is scarred from growing up seeing all that in the haveli as a kid and he didn't want to have a repeat of it with this marriage. Hence his comment that he would have been better off without getting married if he'd known things would be like this.

I also think that despite his positivity and optimism about life, he's carry just way too much pain and trauma from his childhood. He tries to hide it but all the frustration that has built up over the years from not being able to make it go away or let go of the pain burdens him too. We see some of that leak when he loses his temper or just gets fed up of certain things. I am not blaming him but I think Babita and Minnie will have to learn to deal with this side of him too.

Just me being sarcastic here.

Almost 200 episode lage shaadi hone mein, woh bhi itne saare kalesh ke baad. The rate at which Babita's going, do you think 440 episodes se pehle kuch hoga? I am assuming that's when the show is about to end. Tab jaake Babita finally strong banegi aur HS ke past se deal karne mein uski madad kar payegi. Phir jab Minnie padhne ke liye door chali jayegi aur HS nadiyan bahayega, tab Babita hi usko sambhalegi.

That's how I'm taking it too.....it's good that this happened in the beginning rather than throwing them all off much further down the line.....now they will be better prepared for other upcoming challenges cuz atleast some basic things got cleared up a bit even if many more are pending😆

I had thought Mini's breakdown would coincide with this situation and that is how it would get resolved....the fact that it didn't shows that this was just a prelude....they are trying to strengthen some things before the actual big challenges come up....shoring them up in a sense to deal with bigger crises....

He still has a lot to learn about being a parent despite all his love for Mini....so that will definitely get tested as they go along....I'm curious to see how it gets woven in.

He's holding his baby girl so tight like he won't let her go. It reminded me of his words to her about trying to hold someone so tight that you suffocate them, but in this instant it was required. She needed to feel that security that he wasn't going anywhere.

I felt so so bad for Minnie here. She got NOTHING from Ashok and for her to think she had lost her hero, her Hanuman Uncle, but not being able to say anything... No wonder she was quiet throughout this scene. She was just too overwhelmed by the gamut of emotions.

Yes, the positivity and optimism aside, he definitely has baggage from his childhood that pours out in anger and frustration from time to time if jhagde and all remind him of that....his one goal in life is to not have that kind of a marriage or that kind of a family.....so yes, it does upset him.

Mini toh shaayad deal kar bhi legi....Babita will have to learn to deal with it more....accepting him and understanding where his loss of temper is coming from....just like he understands for her sake.

Yup, I'm waiting for the micro focus to start from his side. I want him to notice every single thing that she's going through and to pay attention to her emotions and well-being.

Heck, where are those morning training sessions he wanted to observe her doing, or even training her? Pretty please can we get one of those? And also him buying her boxes of motichoor ke laddo, dropping her to college, etc.

I also have this strange feeling that it will take some major sacrifice on his part in future to push things over the line and for her to see that he is her father.

LOL J/K, I do get you....Babita ki pace dekh ke toh Tortoise bhi khargosh lagta hai😆....so yeah, at this rate 400 se pehle kuch na hoga.....I can wait if they make the journey worth the while with the amazing scenes we get from time to time.....lol
