I lived in your region for sometime and can understand you. But ne va po Athu ithu can sometimes be casual based on region they are bought upon, I don't know for sure about Malaysia. It is not necessarily meant to be disrespectful. No disrespect is harmful as long as it is consensual and receiving person accept it. In general, I agree to your observations.

Just watched the episode.... Starting from the watermelon ball task I just had a big smile watching them...Loved the group vibes... They looked like 5 bunnies....hope there is no elimination this week.
