I am not crucify anyone. I find it extremely weird one fine day both husband and wife want to bond with the extended family without telling them the truth about the circumstances in which they got married..for which they were not on talking terms sometime back..because of which a mother cursed her daughter..... showing them how nice he is was more important? This he doesnt need to do as goodness comes in actions not in words. Yes. For a mother, her daughter's happiness is utmost important , veena wants to see prerna happy, whoever she is with..they will accept bajaj wholehearedly..I don't have a problem with that..they must..but I found it weird , the way they were having a conversation like last months or two or whatever never happened ..this is just a normal family lunch... . Haath mangna chahiye tha is the stupidest line ever considering the circumstances of marriage . He didnt elope with prerna

i think that depends on what your definition of a "wrong note" is tho. What Bajaj did shouldn't only be considered a wrong note.. i think his behavior really did ruin two perfectly happy people who were about to get married and promptly start a family. I think the lack of acknowledgment from Bajaj side on how badly he destroyed Prerna and Anurag (and their kid) to set up his own home is something i can't digest.

perfect no way Bajaj's action can be justified. And on the top of it Prerna's acceptance for the same in the name of sacrifice can't digest a bit. i never thought writer would repeat the same story even in 2019

Well of course he does. They're his in laws. Doesn't mean he has to bare it all. When he married Prerna, she also put forth a few conditions. Prerna chose to keep the circumstances of their marriage a secret because she has a martyr complex and also doesn't want anyone to know what a martyr she is. He respects her wishes. He also saw that Prerna is missing her family, so he is trying to get them to accept her and that cannot happen if their marriage is not accepted.

I completely agree with amigos. What else could he have said?

Of course he is going to try and apologize for not doing things the formal way because that isn't just tradition. It's about respect as well. Prerna doesn't want her family to know but she wants to be with her family. So he's doing his best to break the ice between them all. What other way to do it than first acknowledge that? I don't think he means it technically. She's already married to him. AB bolne se all he's doing is creating a way to ease things and be accepted. From his pov, I don't see anything wrong. Completely agree with you... Jab tak prerna nahi chahti hai apne marriage ka truth reveal karne ke liye tab tak ke liye uski family se alag rakhna usse vo bhi sahi nahi hai... Mr. Bajaj ne dekha hai ki vo apni maa ko kitna miss karti hai so Mr. Bajaj vaha jake marriage ke situation ke liye maafi mang ke apne upar sab le rahe hai aur prerna ko clean chit mile aur uski family pahele ki tarah hi uske sath rahe... Jab prerna cahhegi tab sach bhi bata denge.. Tab tak kisiko to apne side se efforts dalne hi hoge prerna aur uski family ke bichme normal karne ke liye
