Bollywood Has Weak 2019 in Overseas (Bharat best of Bunch)

2019 has been a pretty good year for the domestic box office. Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kabir Singh' which raked in a total of Rs 276.34 crore remains the top grosser of the year, however, there are few big-ticket films releasing in the fourth quarter of the year which has can potentially take the first spot. From 'Housefull 4' to 'Dabangg 3', the fourth quarter of 2019 is sure to set the box office ringing.

However, 2019 hasn't been that good for Bollywood films at the Overseas market which has seen dull results. Salman Khan's 'Bharat' is the top-grossing film in the list, though considering an Eid release it should have done more. The film raked in around $10 million and the main reason it got this number was the Gulf region which contributed over 40% of its Overseas business.

Ranveer Singh's 'Gully Boy', Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri - The Surgical Strike' and Shahid Kapoor's 'Kabir Singh' also did well at the Overseas market. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer 'Kalank' which failed to impress at the domestic box office, however, raked in good numbers at the international circuit. Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Mangal' too stands fifth in the list. 'Badla' and 'Chhichhore' both the film which were made on a modest budget also managed to earn a spot in the top ten list. However, there wasn't any blockbuster film in the overseas market this year till now.
