Anurag butchering is much more than that... They didn't acknowledge dhaaga marriage properly.. Like barely even used it for Pre to realize that Anurag is still wearing it despite being married to komolika.. So, it didn't hit me much cause I understood that they wanted that deal marriage as well..

But Anurag's character wasn't played so much through months.. So to see him butchered like this is too disappointing.. And all just to establish the new character..
