Well at this point I’m hoping preeta doesn’t go there at all to live as those people don’t deserve her, plus I want karan to not get to see her now that he has taken his so-called revenge and pine to see her. I don’t want preeta to go anywhere near them.

Yes I don't know why but knowing balaji plus beeji's words about rishabh and how out of all the luthra's rishabh is the only one who is still shown to not be able to hate preeta (well rakhi too but that's not as significant as lover boy rishabh lol) I keep getting the feeling rishabh eventually will be shown with preeta. yeah that is typical balaji way of showing love triangles. so called soulmates have some major trust deficit and the one sided lover is trustworthy and supportive like anything.

contrary to that one sided lover actually got the female lead in few old EK shows. dont know much about the recent ones. however i think she launched a love triangle after a very long time.

I'm disappointed because the build up to the love triangle was ruined with the current outcome. I know that in future the love triangle will come back to the forefront eventually after having spent so much time focusing on it, yet it still seems so silly to me how things have turned out with rishabh marrying the vamp after two years of making us think that at mandap she would finally be exposed. What an anti-climax after such a build-up.
