Sambal is like a dry gravy where lots of red chilli, ginger, garlic and onion is blended and cooked over med heat until oil separates and then other liquid items are added esp tamarind pulp and sugar. Thanks.. So it's kind of sidedish naa.. I thought edho tiffin variety nu.. as that time Tharshan was oathifying something on dosa pan.. so I thought adhu dhaan sambaal pola nu.. that's why I asked if it's 'adai' type of dish ah nu..
