I think Sacred Games is a more complex show with a variety of subjects involved. Mirzapur is simple but very entertaining, more on the lines of GOW. If I had to choose one to give an award, it would be Sacred Games but if I had to choose one to watch just whenever, it would be Mirzapur.
Sacred games s1 > mirzapur >>>>>>>> season 2 SG
Sacred games s1 > mirzapur >>>>>>>> season 2 SG
This is the "popular perception" if I'm not wrong. Pretty sure I heard 2-3 other people say the exact same thing without providing any valid reasons.
Prefer Mirzapur as it delivers what it says on the tin i.e. Hindi pulp set in the heartland. Sacred Games takes a much better story/plot and does full maa behen of it neither delivering the content nor the pulp quotient. Bas production value badhiya hai.
Btw Powder is easily better than both these shows. Pankaj Tripathi's career best too.
Sacred Games, Mirzapur & Made in Heaven all are good. Between SG and Mirzapur it's Sacred Games.
