Haven't you known someone who's gotten a job becuase this person knows someone? Once there, sucess is solely due to perseverance and hard work. Like I said, give the girl her props!

You are talking about the beginning of her career but considering how her only two successful movies in the past 5 years or so were with Salman, clearly there is more to her success than her " hard work".

If she actually worked hard on her acting maybe she would be appreciated & respected more..her hard work was just restricted to learning to dance better

Your inference to her "hard work" is cheap and beneath you. Come to the debate with substance, not with your natural instinct to reduce a woman's success down to her vagina.

If all women sleep their way to the top, then there would more successful women in all fields.

I'm not doing that..I'm just saying Salman has had an important role in her career (not the only reason obviously, just an important one) and helped her at critical points. To immediately suggest that I'm sexist because of it is silly.

I said "hard work", because she didn't work on the actual important part, her lackluster acting skills. She should be an actor first, instead that seems secondary to her being a dancer and looking good. I couldn't care less about her getting help from Salman or not if she actually delivered in the acting department

What you said in that context was deliberate, don't backtrack now.

Guess I won't be seeing you in the fight for gender equality.

Literally in the next sentence of my original post I talked about what I meant with hard work: "If she actually worked hard on her acting maybe she would be appreciated & respected more..her hard work was just restricted to learning to dance better". So how am I backtracking?

You are the typical salty feminist who when she has no arguments pulls the sexism card. That's pretty sad but happens a lot with your type.

Nice try, you added that bit after.

I rather be a "typical salty feminist", than a self-hating bigot.

I do hope when (yes, when) you encounter any sort of bias based on your gender, you will recall this debate and wish you had a "salty feminist" to protect your back.

No I didn't..that was already there when you went mad and accused me of being a sexist. Look up the time, it was edited one hour before you made your dumb post. The proof is there, just admit that you made a mistake.

You would rather be a foolish feminist who gets butthurt over everything and imagines sexism everywhere than actually be smart feminist and know wtf she is talking about. Your type is the reason people can't stand feminists

And I'm a dude..why would I need a feminist to protect my back?

You about done debasing yourself? I'm embarrassed for you.

For your education, feminists are fighting for political, economic, and social equality of the sexes. That includes you.

Yeah you would rather be a foolish feminist who gets butthurt over everything and imagines sexism everywhere than actually be smart feminist and know wtf she is talking about. Your type is the reason people can't stand feminists, you give them a bad name

Says the one who is too full of herself to admit that she made a mistake and overreacted (even showed you proof but you ignored it). And then you are embarrased for me, that's laughable.

Real feminists do that but foolish one's who get mad over everything and pull the sexism card at every opportunity don't. They give the real feminists a bad name. And sadly there are too many of the latter type..for an example you who just got salty over me bashing Katrina and cried "sexist"/"bigot" without even reading the post properly.

Now that's embarrassing!
