Exactly, imagine Ayushmann in Tamasha and it just wouldn't work nearly as well. Ayushmann seems always a bit detached, Ranbir goes all in with his characters

ayushman is like amir khan.. a good sense of scripts but the acting wouldn't seep inside ur soul... won't make u feel the man is the character..

ranbir blurred the char n the man with most of his roles except sanju which left me so disgruntled .sanju is like rk's kank! so ott. (didn't watch bombay velvet or besharam so no comments)

Ranbir without a doubt...

Ayushman excels in the kind of movies he is doing but I can't imagine him doing a Rockstar or a Sanju or even Tamasha.....Ayushman's movies are successful because of the script...Badhai ho would have had the same result even if it had RKR....I am not saying he is not a good actor ...he is ...but Ranbir is much more superior when it comes to acting.

Ranbir just needs better scripts, he has had a lot of bad luck in that regard after 2013.

I enjoy more of Ayushmann's movies. I like him more than Ranbir off screen... Though I think Ayushman lacks Ranbir's intensity in romance centric films.

V tough choice...both are v good actors...can’t choose
