with any selection or even win of an award there will be some that will be unhappy, but there are also many that are very happy that gullyboy has been selected, so no matter which movie was picked some will have had a problem

Some ppl will always be unhappy. It portrayed the lives of Gully and took me to that place which i never visited. There's a reason it got selected.

Not everyone’s gonna be happy. But it’s a surprise for me too so I am ecstatic. They can crib all they want but 🤷🏻‍♀️.. it’s done.

I thought it has just been selected by India and the actual foreign language film nominations are yet to come out.. confusing.

Gullyboy is based on the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy. Murad was based on Naezy's life. MC Sher was based on Divine's life.
